The 'Burger Apocalypse' title hints at the fact that beef (and lamb) has a huge carbon footprint.

Meat eaters could switch from beef/lamb to pork or chicken and cut around two thirds off the carbon footprint.

​

Fish and vegetarian options are generally low carbon, but not dairy as it comes from the methane-producing cows.
